Devlog #1: Updates

Devlog #01 — Core Gameplay & Environment Progress

Hello everyone!

We’ve been working on the core gameplay systems and the environment of our game.
In this update, we focused on building the foundation of the gameplay while developing the 3D environment for the game world.

Gameplay

Character Movement

We implemented the basic movement system for the player, including:

  • Walking
  • Crouching
  • Running

Health System

We implemented the player's HP system, allowing the player to take damage and keep track of their current health.

Interaction System

The player can now interact with different objects in the environment.

This system will be used for examining objects, picking up items, and interacting with important objects throughout the game.

Inventory System

We added an Inventory System that allows the player to collect and store items.

These items will be useful for interacting with the environment and progressing through different situations.

Flashlight System

We also implemented the Flashlight System.

The flashlight helps the player explore dark areas and discover objects that may not be visible in the darkness.

Environment Art

Our artists have also been working on the 3D environment and game scenes.

The environment is being developed to create the atmosphere and setting of the game, while also providing spaces for the player to explore and interact with.

We are currently working on:

  • 3D environment assets
  • Game scenes
  • Props and environmental objects
  • Scene composition
  • Lighting and atmosphere

The environment is still a work in progress, but the game world is starting to take shape.

What's Next?

With the core gameplay systems and environment taking shape, we will continue developing the main gameplay experience.

Next, we plan to work on:

  • Enemy / Monster AI
  • Stealth and detection
  • More interactable objects
  • More inventory items
  • Environment improvements
  • Lighting and atmosphere
  • Story-related gameplay

Thanks for following our development!

More updates coming soon!
